GML provides a wide variety of engineering, procurement, and construction services along with general electrical project management services.

We provide electric utility designs based on surveyed plans. Calculate recommended transformer, wire, and equipment sizes based on the connected load of the services. Typical designs include site layout and locations of all electrical equipment including poles, anchors, underground conduit, transformers, pad mounted gear, etc. For larger projects, plans will also include a one line schematic. Designs will also be specific to each utilities construction standards and design/work practices.
Construction oversight and supervision on projects from start to finish. These services would typically include equipment staking, coordinating with other trades, field inspections, witness testing, etc. Project closeout includes documentation on final conditions, including as-builts, inspection records and other GIS/ database updates.
Get assistance in the procurement process and evaluation for all materials. We can generate a bill of material based off electric designs, specify recommended equipment and material to be installed based off the design and bill of material.
We can develop cost estimates for designs based on your utilities billing policies and T&C’s. Labor units can be developed based on a utilities work practices or with NECA MLU rates. The estimate and schedule will be accompanied by a scope of work document which clearly defines each party’s scope and responsibility.

Our team of consultants and engineers can review power portfolios, perform impact studies for upcoming developments, review or create engineering and switching plans, and assist with grant writing and the development of rebate programs.
