GML delivers specialized preventative maintenance and diagnostic services designed to fortify electric utility infrastructure. From advanced infrared imaging and structural pole testing to GIS data management and vulnerability assessments, we provide the objective data and independent verification needed to mitigate risk, ensure NESC compliance, and maximize system reliability.

Inspections on wooden utility poles. The inspection includes a test of the integrity of the pole measuring the decay and cavity. A visual inspection of the pole is also conducted to identify any rot at the top of the pole, loose hardware, NESC clearance and compliant issues.
Also offering double pole and attachment surveys to ensure accurate billing data.
General maintenance and inspection for critical electrical equipment such as distribution transformers, pad mounted switches, LBAB’s, reclosers, circuit breakers etc.
Infrared electrical components to identify hot spots and loose connections. Components range from transmission structures to secondary connections. All infrared findings will be reported in a standard GML report indicating the location, description and priority of the issue.
Review of electric system, identifying any critical vulnerabilities from an operational perspective. Recommendations will be made to address and mitigate any weak points in the system.
Collect and verify GIS data, maintain database and records. Create maps, as-builts, and drawings as needed.
